On 7-9 November, BITEC in Bangkok will be hosting in-cosmetics Asia, the leading event in Asia Pacific for personal care ingredients. This is where personal care ingredients and creators come together – so if you are a cosmetic manufacturer and work in R&D, why should you visit?
Perfect your formulation skills If you are a formulator looking for creative input but are also concerned about cost, efficacy and stability, we have 3 days’ worth of Formulation Lab sessions lined up for you. This is where you will be given the opportunity to work with suppliers’ ingredients in a recreated Lab at the show in the company of your peers from the R&D community from across Asia Pacific. Choose from “Learn how to produce creative, high quality formulation at low cost” to “How to create your own customized liposomes or even “Oil/Water waterproof mineral sunscreen with biodegradable emulsifier”.
- Enhance your knowledge of trends and technology
What do end users need and want now and in the future? Without this in-depth knowledge of the trends that are shaping the world of cosmetics, it can be very challenging to create winning finished products. At in-cosmetics Asia, you will be able to choose seminars including “Conscious consumerism and the pursuit of sustainable beauty” to “Thai beauty trends” or even, as part of this year’s India Country Focus “Breaking into the Indian Market: K-Beauty perspective”. - Choose the right suppliers/ingredients
In-cosmetics Asia will be showcasing 500+ suppliers from across the world, many of them you (and your competitors!) may have never met or heard of – so there’s your opportunity…But, of course, if you are a start-up or Indie brand, visiting a show can be overwhelming with so many big suppliers. Maybe you feel like your business isn't worth the attention of a large supplier? We know that it is not the size of your brand, but your vision for it. Small players can turn into big brands eg Drunk Elephant, Glossier, Function of Beauty, so it is important that suppliers are aware of your presence. The show’s new Indie Trail will help you identify companies that can fulfil small ingredient orders (ie as small as 1kg for active ingredients, 5-10kg of functional materials, or 2000 units of packaging)
